Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are capacitors that use aluminum metal as an electrode, covered with an extremely thin aluminum oxide layer as a dielectric material, and have an electrolyte as a second electrode. They are commonly used in power supplies and DC-DC converters to smooth and buffer the rectified DC voltage in many electronic devices. Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are characterized by large capacity, large leakage, poor stability, positive and negative polarity, and are suitable for power supply filtering or low-frequency circuits. When using, do not connect the positive and negative poles in reverse.
